What are the camp’s opening hours:
7:30 am – 8:30 am -Breakfast club
8:30 am – 4:30 pm -Camp activities
4:30 pm- 6:00 pm – Extended play
I’m not familiar with your program, how long have you been providing activities for children on Nuns Island?
Camp Cameron is associated with the Nouvelles Connections pour un Brillant Futur (N.C.B.F) Literacy Program on Nuns Island. Since 2015 we have been providing English classes, fun social monthly outings as well as private tutoring sessions for children ages 4- 12.
I am nervous about sending my child to camp this summer. Am I able to receive updates or pictures throughout the day?
Yes! As canid moments will be captured throughout the day, parents will never miss a moment where amazing connections are made through fun activities, and discoveries. Photos and videos will be made available for viewing on our Instagram page.
What Languages are spoken at Camp Cameron?
All the activities are conducted in English, however our camp leaders are multilingual speakers.
What is included in the All Inclusive services?
- Camp T-shirt
- Sunscreen ( 30- 50 SPF fragrance free)
- Breakfast, two snacks, Lunch
- Early morning drop off (7:30am – 8:30am)
- Extended play (4:30pm- 6:00 pm if needed $6/ day)

What is Breakfast club?
Breakfast club is a complimentary service where children can eat an full breakfast with their friends and camp leaders from 7:30am -8:30am
My child has severe allergies!
Our Camp is Also 100% nut free! Our meals are also prepared in a nut free facility.
At Camp Cameron we take the highest measures to insure that our environment is safe for everyone, especially children with dietary restrictions. We have STRICT protocols to prevent children from having allergic reactions to foods that are harmful to them.
What do the children do during extended play?
Extended play is a complimentary after care service where children will participate in friendly board game competitions from 4:30pm-6:00 pm
What is academic refinement?
Research shows that Academic refinement and summer learning programs are removing barriers to children succeeding in school. During our academic refinement sessions children will work closely with specialized tutors to improve in one of the following subjects:
- English & French conversion/reading/writing
I have a child with Specific needs
At Camp Cameron, all children are included. However If your child had a support worker during the previous school year(s) and requires one on one attention, parents are responsible for providing their child with a shadow. Please indicate on the registration form if your child requires a support worker and one will be provided.
Do the children participate in pool activities?
Yes, 2 days a week the children will have the opportunity to enjoy water play at the aqua dome Lasalle pool!
Transportation: STM private bus
I’m concerned about safety and security.
At Camp Cameron or leader’s top priority is to ensure that each student will remain with their group throughout the day. Children will be supervised when they have water breaks, bathroom breaks, and when participating in the afternoon special activities.
How to register?
Registration is completed online, under the Summer Registration form. Please indicate which weeks you would like to sign up for, and you will receive an email notification once your form has been submitted. A registration can not be confirm unless accompanied by $200 per student.
Is Camp Cameron open on Holidays?
Yes, we are open on July, 1st, 2025
What is Camp Cameron’s refund policy?
Should your summer plans change, weeks scheduled may be interchanged at no cost depending on availability.
Should you wish to cancel, a full refund will be issued less an administration fee of $50 for each week cancelled.
All changes and cancellations must be submitted in writing to campcameronmontreal@gmail.com
Do you offer discounts?
Families with two or more children will receive a 10% discount on the second child’s registration (can not be combined with other promotions)
Do you offer payment plans*?
Yes, we offer payment plans in instalments of 2-6 payments.
Payments
A deposit of $250/student is required to confirm a place. The remaining balance is due before June 16, 2025*. Accepted methods of payment: INTERAC e-transfer (campcameronmontreal@gmail.com) cheque ,(Promotion: don’t pay the administration fee if you use INTERAC Transfer) and payments instalments.
